Orders must be paid in full before shipment.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your payment information.
5. Shipping
We ship worldwide.
Orders are normally dispatched within one to two business days after payment has been received.
Estimated delivery times vary depending on the destination country and shipping method and are provided for guidance only.
Delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Abessijn Publishers is not responsible for delays resulting from:
postal or courier services;
customs inspections or clearance;

or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Delayed delivery does not entitle the customer to cancel an order or claim compensation.
6. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, handling fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
Abessijn Publishers has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
7. Delivery and Transfer of Risk
Ownership of the products transfers to the customer once full payment has been received.
The risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery of the shipment to the delivery address provided during checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
8. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
We carefully inspect every order before shipment.
If your order arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing defect, is incomplete or differs from what you ordered, please notify us within 14 days after delivery by emailing:
Please include:
your name;
your order number;
a description of the issue;
photographs showing the damage or defect, where applicable.
Complaints submitted after this period may no longer be eligible for replacement or refund unless mandatory consumer legislation provides otherwise.
If your claim is accepted, we will, at our discretion:
replace the product;
refund the purchase price; or
provide another appropriate solution.
9. Returns and Statutory Consumer Rights
Customers are requested to inspect their order immediately upon delivery.
Products may not be returned without our prior written approval.
Where a customer wishes to return a product for reasons other than damage, defects or an error on our part, returns are accepted solely at the discretion of Abessijn Publishers.
If a voluntary return is accepted, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Returned products must be:
complete;
securely packaged;
in their original condition;
accompanied by all supplied accessories where applicable.
10. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Customers residing in countries or jurisdictions where consumer protection legislation provides a statutory right of withdrawal may exercise that right in accordance with the applicable laws of their country of residence.
Where no statutory right of withdrawal exists, orders become final once dispatched, except where products are damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied or where mandatory consumer legislation provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
11. Non-returnable Products
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the following products cannot be returned once supplied:
personalised products;
signed or dedicated books prepared specifically for the customer;
customised editions;
digital publications that have been downloaded or accessed;
products that have been altered, damaged or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.
These restrictions do not apply where products are faulty, damaged upon delivery or incorrectly supplied.
12. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.
Refunds will be issued within the period required by applicable law after we have received the returned product or sufficient proof that it has been returned.
Shipping costs are refunded only where required by applicable law or where the return results from our error.
